The composition is based on a great circle at the street level. The void - the spirit of Architecture - the non-existent as raw material, challenge and inspiration.
The ground level is kept free and the space to be unveiled lies suspended. An ethnic square signaling itself through icons of Architecture all over the planet disposed round its boundary. The invention of shelter as a human gesture - same needs in different cultures.
The building emerges as an anti-typology, different from any other represented within. The construction while an event, an aluminized metallic ellipsis upheld by concrete columns.
At one of the extremities of the site one finds the Way-in Hall, Reception and Queries Counter. The threshold for discoveries to come, the ascension, lifts and escalator.
Up there already, on a first space dedicated to Temporary Exhibitions, the Entry of the Great Room. Here, the elliptical section unfolds the route according which one can contemplate samples of Architecture through media. The extending screen, the never reaching end, computers, holographs, multi-lingual audio appliances.
The Technological Time Tunnel, an amusement, centuries (re)discovered in a multimedia spectacle. State of Art Architectural works chronologically displayed, projected on the inner walls of the tube.
At the other extremity, the place for a pause, the debate, the gathering, the venue. There, surprise will be discussed. Coupling this space, the administrative and service premises develop, suitably located apart from the traffic of users.
Technological Evolution and Time flow linearity materialized as an urban object. On a somewhat inhospitable exterior hovers an object in metalanguage: Architecture and Time, the alliance between defined and abstract,
matter and void,
place and imaginary.
