penetrar o corpo, deixar que os volumes e os espaços construídos preencham o espírito. Da formulação da idéia ao registro da obra pronta, o croquis, o desenho, a foto e o texto mais que imagens são o grande suporte da Arquitetura. Porém nada se compara ao momento em que os usuários se movimentam descobrindo os lugares que mais que cenários são a própria vida, materialização das idéias, necessidades, tecnologias e culturas. Aí estes agentes se tornam os novos autores e a Arquitetura é muito mais importante que os Arquitetos. Intentamos mostrar aqui alguns trabalhos no sentido de viajar as imagens que produzimos em nossa prática arquitetônica colocando em conjunto algumas propostas e realizações. Também para revelar os processos, provocar críticas, e rever as intenções iniciais. A preservação da vida depende da interação entre a Natureza e a Cidade, e as ações humanas indicarão ou não a continuidade Passado-Presente-Futuro. O Espaço e o Tempo são a matéria prima e não existe verdade absoluta. O ponto de partida é o local onde estamos, coração do mundo, nosso contato imediato com a Terra e o contemporâneo. América do Sul, Brasil, Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte. Zoom da nossa realidade que não é escolha, é missão. A Arquitetura só alcançará seu real objetivo quando prevalecer a justiça social e espiritual dos indivíduos, e Ela é uma das forças que promove esta transformação. João Diniz, 1996  |

From the initial idea to the accomplished work, the sketch, the drawing, the photograph and the written text - more than images - are the supports of architecture. This, however, is nothing compared to the moment, when the user is moving through space suddenly discovering that they are not only scenarios, but real life. They are the materialisation of the ideas, of necessities, of technologies and cultures. At that point, these users are the new authors and the architecture becomes much more important than the architects. Let's show some projects here, with the intention to let the images travel, and at the same time compiling some proposals and realisations of our architecture. Also to reveal the process, to provoke criticism and to review the initial intentions. The preservation of life depends on the interaction between nature and the city, and the human activities will indicate whether or not there exists continuity of Past-Present-Future. Space and time is the principal subject and there is no absolute truth. The point of departure is the place where we are, heart of the world, our immediate contact with the Earth and the present. South-America, Brazil, Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte. Zoom of our reality, which isn't a choice, but a mission. Architecture will only reach its real aim if social justice and the spirit of the individual will dominate, and architecture is one of the powers promoting this transformation. |
